WEB and Atlet AB have signed a new agreement. Atlet is a preferred supplier for WEB's members for the supply of inspections, technical preventive- and repair servicec of forklift trucks, spare parts as well as new and used forklift trucks to the members. As a member of Workability Europe you are entitled to apply for Microsoft Academic Status. You may already have this agreement in place via WEB BV or earlier. As the existing Academic Agreement for WE members expires June 30, 2009 WEB BV has now signed a new agreement. This agreement is a Academic Select Plus Agreement and is on-going and do not have to be renewed every third year.

WEB has started a Buy and Sell site for Workability Europe members; www.salewebbv.eu
The categories for sell and buy are for example Computers, Office Supplies, Own Products, Donations and Service. The site is accessible for everyone but addressed to Workability members and it´s free for the members to advertise. External partners who would like to donate or advertise have to contact Lars Lindblom or Marie Lundberg.

Ludvika municipality is one of the first municipalities in Sweden
to buy electrical bikes
The purpose is to get a better environment by decreasing car driving between the units in the municipality. By decreasing the car driving the employees get more chances to exercise and the transports costs will be reduced. The bikes are bought from Monark Exercise through WEB and the Enviro Project.
The newspaper in Ludvika noticed the first appearance of the new bikes: see the notice

WEB was represented at the Werkstätten:Messe 2009 (19-22 March) in Nürnberg and shared stand with the WE member Fegapei. The number of visitors was over 15,000 in four days. Lars Lindblom got into contact with about 50 possible business partners, members and future members from countries as Croatia, Israel among others.

The Document handling seminar in Hamburg on April 2 is postponed!
WEB and GDW-Nord will send a new invitation to the seminar later this spring and it is to be hoped that we can have the seminar in the beginning of July.

An EABAT meeting took place on 19 November in CLEPA's office in Brussels. CLEPA is approved and have good access to the European Commission and UN. 19 of the 20 largest suppliers WW are members of CLEPA. The CEO of CLEPA, Mr Lars Holmqvist made a presentation of the CLEPA organisation. He also informed about the very bad situation in the automative businesses at the moment. All EABAT members are affected by the dramatic changes in the automotive businesses.

WEB considers Corporate Express as prefered supplier for its members of Office supplies including stationary, computer supplies and copy paper. Corporate Express will, together with WEB and the local members, aim to deliver a double digit savings program in each country. Corporate Express's local account managers will continue with pro-activily submit proposals for the members.

Samhall is the first buyer of a new bicycle, partly driven by electricity. The bicycle is developed by Monark Exercise AB and WEB B.V. The electric motor helps pedal the cycle and by that the new bicycle is perfect for people with functional disorder och elder people who find it hard to pedal an ordinary bicycle. Prefect for them who want´s to save their strength!
